Uniform
School Uniform
At Peel Park, we want our children to feel they belong and have a strong sense of pride in our school. Wearing a uniform helps prepare children for the school day and encourages their positive involvement in school life. Our uniform is a visible sign of the school's identity within the neighbourhood. Children in uniform will always represent our school.
The school uniform is as follows:
- Shoes: Black school shoes or plain black trainers with no coloured logos etc
- Trousers: Grey or black school trousers (not joggers or leggings)
- Shirts: Plain white polo shirts
- Jumper/cardigan: Green (red in Y6)
- Shorts (during summer months): Black or grey school shorts
- Skirts: Grey or black cotton school skirts
- Tights and socks should be grey or black or white
- Dresses: Green gingham dress
No jewellery other than stud earrings may be worn in school at any time
No nail varnish or make-up may be worn.
Uniform can be purchased from Abbey Street Shopping Centre and Whittaker's (located within Oswaldtwistle Mills).
If you are eligible for Pupil Premium and wish to use your allowance towards uniform, please speak to the school office.
We also host regular uniform swap sessions where second-hand uniforms are offered to our families. Details about these will be provided in the newsletters.
